Colombian team’s naked cycling kit slammed as unacceptable

Colombia’s national cycling team has become a laughing stock with its new skin-toned uniforms.

Designers of the female squad’s new garb bizarrely decided to use nude-colored cloth around the groin area.

The International Cycling Union have slammed the controversial kit of the Colombia cycling team, declaring it as “unacceptable by any standard of decency.”

The UCI have also stated that they will be sending a letter to remind the Colombian cycling team of their responsibility “in the control of regional and club team kits that compete in international events.”

It has caused controversy in the cycling world, with former British Olympic cycling champion Nicole Cooke saying: “This has turned the sport into a joke. Girls stand up for yourselves – say no.”

It comes despite reports in their homeland that the team have been wearing the kit for several months.

But now the ICU have stated that they are aware of the issue, with president Brian Cookson slamming their outfit.

“To the many who have raised the issue of a certain women’s team kit, we are on the case.
